The 14 T tramcar is a one-way, low-rise vehicle, consisting of five segments, interconnected by joints. Multi-segmented solution promises bigger capacity higher passenger comfort. The tramcar coachwork was designed by the Porsche Design studio.
The Škoda 14T car No. 9111 appeared in the streets for the first time on January 28th, 2006. Next 20 tramcars should be bought till the end of year 2007 and next 40 pieces within the following three years.
