Control Web 5 Service Pack 14
 Service Pack 14 for Control Web 5 fixes problems, which occurred in the Control Web 5 process control software. Service Pack 14 can be downloaded from Software download section or it is possible to order in on CD-ROM.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed problems with product activation on Microsoft Windows Vista.

  • Fixed problems with connection of client data sections to data sections on remote computers.

  • Fixed bug which caused system crash when a procedure of remote data section was called from within a procedure of local data section.

  • Connecting of client applications to remote server applications with parameter required = not_required is now faster.

  • When a scalar data element of remote data section of unknown type was wrongly used as array or an array element was used as scalar, the error was message contained array instead of scalar and vice versa.

  • Fixed bug in metafile import in the UNICODE version of Control Web.

  • The bug in CWNETDRV driver causing wrong data read on multi-core systems was fixed.

  • The bug in CWNETDRV driver causing system crash on the client side was fixed.

  • The alarm_viewer instrument performed updates invoked by hot-keys always in the current-values table, even if the historical-values table was selected.
